Dr. Subhasis Banerji is currently a fellow at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore where he is involved in biomedical engineering and clinical research. He is also the founder and CEO at Synphne Pte Ltd., Singapore, www.synphne.org, which is focused on helping people overcome the brain-body deficits arising out of various medical conditions and ageing.
The SynPhNe System and Learning Model is the outcome of his Ph.D. study for which he has worldwide patents. He has spent two decades in industry spanning engineering design and manufacturing to health programs and therapy. He is an accomplished yoga and martial arts practitioner with over 30 years of experience.
His research interests are mind-body health, chronic disability, movement science, wearable robotics, signal processing and medical devices. He is Director, Technology and Health Services, Dharma Foundation of India, a WHO recognized non-profit organization working in Active Aging and creating aging friendly societies in different parts of India.
