Stacey Cooper McMath is the Director of the Programs Unit at the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, where she works with her colleagues to administer the $28 million Cultural Development Fund. She has served hundreds of organizations as their primary liaison with the City of New York and has facilitating funding panels allocating millions of dollars each year in city funds. She has been the primary architect of the panel selection process for the SPARC (Seniors Partnering with Artists Citywide) and SU-CASA Programs, placing hundreds of artists in residence at senior centers through partnership with the city’s Department for the Aging, City Council, and five local arts councils. In addition to her work at DCA she teaches in the Theatre department at Barnard College, her alma mater.
