Museum Educator, Access and Community Programs, The Metropolitan Museum of Art,
Rebecca McGinnis is the museum educator at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Overseeing the museum’s access and community programs, she was recognized by the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and the American Council of the Blind. She is an adjunct lecturer in the Museum Studies Master’s Program at the Johns Hopkins University and has co-chaired/covened several accessibility in education conferences.
She has worked with over fifty international museums, including the British Museum, National Portrait Gallery in London, Royal National Institute for the Blind, and the Victoria and Albert Museum.
