Molly Sturges is the co-founder of Lifesongs and the Living Story Collaborative. As a faculty member, she creates and facilitates various programs and workshops on aging, death and dying, ecological leadership and participatory story-making.
A composer, artistic director, performer and facilitator, Molly is best known for hybrid projects integrating performance, creative exchange, and social and environmental equity and health. She has created large-scale performance and engagement projects with communities around the globe since 1998.
She has an MA in music composition from Wesleyan University and is the founding artistic director of Littleglobe, a diverse artist collaborative devoted to arts and social transformation. She is also the founder and artistic director of COAL, a dynamic musical production and storytelling project that can be employed, adapted and localized by groups and communities nationwide as a powerful catalyst for climate engagement work. A life-long student and teacher of contemplative and somatic practices, Molly integrates these sensibilities into all of her work.
