With a singing career developing as early as 4 years old, and at sixteen professionally, Margie and the female group known as the Four Jewels, starred as the opening act for the James Brown Revue in such showplaces as: the Howard Theatre, Apollo, Royal, Orange Bowl, Club Harlem, and the Copacabana in New York. Her talent has taken her to the stages of USO Shows with Bob Hope, to Vietnam, and many Job Corp sites throughout the country.
Margie is a recording artist and has recorded three top selling hit songs in the early 60’s, Opportunity, Johnny Jealously and Loaded with Gooddies. Margie performed with the Rickie Loza Combo in El Salvador at Club La Luna during the jazz festival in July, 2001. The club was packed each night. As the lead vocalist, with Jacques “SAXMAN” Johnson and Friends, Margie continues to amaze audiences wherever she sings.
