Jane Chu, Chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts launches the leadership exchange with a national perspective of next realities the arts are pioneering across the field.

Dr. Chu’s insight, wit, creativity, practical experience, and artmaking as a musician uniquely equip her to frame and expand the dialogue and vision throughout the leadership exchange in ways that will challenge, inspire, and energize.

Arthur Espinoza, Executive Director, DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities will extend an invitation to explore the cultural and artistic vibrancy of Washington DC as David Cutler, Director, The Baring Foundation, United Kingdom deepens our experience of the keynote address.

Throughout the afternoon, a team of master teaching artists will introduce a “vocabulary” for communal artmaking as a “global language” to embody, inform, and enrich our experience throughout the leadership exchange.

This session is CART Captioned for accessibility and to assist those for which English is a second language.
